Any SL project i use after a prolonged amount of time. I have VS2010 also installed side by side with VS2008 (same with Blend 4) so i'm going to probably nuke them tonight and see if that changes anything (along with reinstalling VS2008 again). I don't think it will change the outcome though as something's not quite right.

No, I've not seen that sort of thing. Is it VS2008 + Silverlight only or is Blend involved? Is it just the one project/solution or any Silverlight project? Maybe uninstall and reinstall VS2008 or repair and repatch... Sorry can't be more help. On Thu, Apr 1, 2010 at 8:17 AM, Scott Barnes <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: Q. I have noticed that after awhile of debug/tweakcode/debug etc that eventually Silverlight starts to crash all of my browsers (i.e. doesn't matter which i fire, they all just crash). If i then go to a site that has Silverlight, it works fine? so it has something to do with debugger + Silverlight not getting along? I then reboot and the problem goes away? Is anyone else experiencing this kind of weird behaviour? I have noticed though that if i put breakpoints on the code they all seem to halt, in that it appears that it can instantiate the said .xap etc ok, but just can't seem to render it to screen without a crash? (There's nothing in the log files and i've tried to attach a seperate VS2008 instance to both IE, Devenv and Blend etc trying to see if i can catch what's causing this to occur?) _______________________________________________ ozsilverlight mailing list [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> http://prdlxvm0001.codify.net/mailman/listinfo/ozsilverlight
