Hi, Can someone point me in the direction of an explanation on how global (as in from app.xaml) ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries works. Note we are trying to remove all inline templates and resources due to the SL memory leak problem.
What I want is a resources.xaml for each area that has a significant amount of templates and styles. However I also have global resources, like colors, brushes, and converters that are used right through the app, and within other resource dictionary files. Example: - ColorsAndBrushResources.xaml - ConvertersAndResources.xaml - AdminViewsResources.xaml (needs to use ColorsAndBrushes.xaml and ConvertersAndResources.xaml) - SectionBResources.xaml (needs to use ColorsAndBrushes.xaml) I want all these referenced from App.xaml, so I can just use any of the resources in my user controls. Is there a way to have multiple resource files all referencing resources in a global resource file which are all included in app.xaml?
