Yep, I was installing VS2010, then the sp1 for it, then installing Silverlight 4 Tools. It wouldnt let me and I suspect it was due to what I installed. I did a custom install and only installed c++ the first time. (User error - replace user and press any key!) I realised I had checked the wrong box (C++ and C# are right next to each other and I have no idea how I managed to do that.) In any case coming back and installing everything after I had installed sp1 would not allow Silverlight 4 Tools to be installed. Uninstall and reinstall everything (minus SQL Express as I dont want that) should work. I hope! Will be trying that tonight as I need to reboot the server due to some service packs that also got installed via Update.
Am using RIA services so I'll also need to install that but wasn't even getting that far. cheers, Stephen On Fri, Apr 29, 2011 at 3:26 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi Stephen, > > As you may already know, SL4 tools and SDKs are part of VS 2010 SP1.
