Adam,

This is a known issue for Web Access and the current workaround is to clear the
work item metadata cache files regularly like you're doing.

We have published a white paper that covers this, with a couple of workarounds
you may want to consider. There's also a batch file you can use to automate the
regular clean-up tasks.

Subject: Team System Web Access Error: Attempted to read or write protected
memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Hi,

We are experiencing the following error when trying to open any Work Item
(current or new) using TSWA 2008:

Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that
other memory is corrupt.

Clearing out the TSWA cache folder (specified in the web.config file) solves
the issues intermittently. This solution is temporary and the issue occurs
again usually within 24 hours.

Has anyone experiencing this issue before?

Regards,
Adam
