I think you will find that some good advice is to never, in project, assign multiple users to a single task because it muddies the project plan in the first place. If you have 2 people assigned to one task, then essentially you have 2 real tasks, whether one is the primary work and another is the support work, or they are actually 2 distinct tasks. Having 2 people assigned to one task at the point where you are merging project with TFS is generally a sign that you have not broken down your tasks with a fine enough granularity.

Hi Luis, The relationship between TFS and Project is a 2 way one. Work items can be raised in Project and published to TFS, as long as they have satisfied the mandatory field requirements for the work item type. These work items can then be updated (e.g. estimates are provided as described below, then updated by PM) and these changes will be reflected once published. In the other direction, when a developer updates the work item with an estimate, this data is then available to Project and will update Gantt charts etc. to reflect the hours associated with the task. This includes being able to update the completed values of the task to keep the Gantt charts displaying the correct progress metric. There's a really good video on this on Channel 9 which I'll try and dig up the link for, and post here later today. It shows the flow of information and the integration with Project and Project server. It's a mock up, but I've found most of the Project -> TFS integration that is mentioned is available in the CTP. The big question is, for Project Manager, they will still use Project to create the project and then map each activity to a work item type, even parent activities?
