Hi all,

I have a client with TFS 2005 trying to migrate a 9Gb VSS database.
We decided to use the latest version of VSSConverter.exe from VS2008 SP1
because it has the feature that adds the date to the comment field.

The client has noticed that it creates random changesets with empty files. For
example a file might have 3 real changesets in its history but when it gets
migrated to TFS it has maybe 7, with the extra ones just being completely empty.

There seems to be no actual pattern to this extra changeset addition, except
that in some cases it always makes the LAST changeset empty (for example that
might happen for a whole folder and all its files).

Wondering if anyone knows why this might be and if it has anything to do with
the fact that its TFS2005 and VS2008.

Cheers,
Steve
