We have a project where all work items need to have an area assigned, so they shouldn't use the root area path. I saw a good tip on preventing users from assigning a particular area or iteration and we tried it out here, but the particular method described didn't work with TSWA, only with Visual Studio Team Explorer. (I can't find the tip anymore, it may be gone now, but the discussion around it can be found in http://blogs.msdn.com/buckh/archive/2009/03/22/sorting-by-multiple-colum ns-in-work-item-tracking.aspx at the bottom.) Can anyone recommend a quick way of achieving this that works in TSWA?
