Some of you may recall my previous posts regarding the automated merging solution I'm working on, MergeMagician. On April 6th I'll be hosting a webinar to show off the current status of MergeMagician and discuss how to use it on common branching scenarios such as release branches, team branches, and feature branches. I'll also show how to integrate it with a multi-stage continuous integration process. I'll be discussing many of the branching patterns outlined in the TFS Branching & Merging Guidance document available on CodePlex. The start time is 2:00pm U.S. Mountain Daylight Time. The main presentation should last around 1 hour, and could run a little longer than that, depending on how much Q&A there is. I'm planning on the webinar being very educational, fostering a great discussion about the best way to use branching & merging, especially in agile-oriented projects that use CI.
