Hi,

I have a simple branch hierarchy similar to this:

Base
 |
  +--------ProjA
 |
  +--------ProjB

Proj A & Proj B were branched from a common Base project.
I can obviously merge between each project and its parent but also need to
merge between the siblings ProjA & ProjB.

I know that I can perform a baseless merge between the two branches and in TFS
2010 that will create the branch relationship.
This relationship will also show up in the regular merge wizard and will allow
regular merges from then on.

My question is, how do I create this relationship without performing a "real"
baseless merge? I do not really want to overwrite all files from one branch
with the other.
Is there a way to perform a, so called, "fake" baseless merge or some other
operation which will set up the new relationship?
Of course, I still need the ability to merge to/from the parent branch.

Thank You,
Shay
