I do plan to do that.

 

Earlier this year someone pointed me to a really clever use of drastic
control re-templating, which I plan to use for my own ends in making
clickable polygonal regions. See HERE

fabulous lateral thinking, as you get all of the functionality of the
regular ListBox because all of the items/regions are clickable, selectable,
etc. Hijacking standard controls opens up some interesting possibilities
eh?!
