There is apparently 2 possibilities

-          Only go through gerrit

-          Allow for commits to still be pushed directly

I'm wondering if this change could impact the platform build and the CBI build.

I think it's worth a try; all the cool kids are doing it. I assume we will need 
some sort of policy (all commits must have at +1 or something). I think the 
policy we choose is more interesting than the use of gerrit itself.
