P2PValue are currently looking for further cases for the directory in the following areas please contribute projects if you can. May Thanks Kevin * It would be good to add three or four cases on the areas of: Citizen media Collaborative video, audio, images Collaborative mapping Citizen science Open data commons Internet of things Open hardward/technology/Open design Collaborative archive Gaming communities * It would be good to add one more case in the areas of P2P currency, Urban commons, Collaborative spaces, Collaborative consumption, and peer funding. - -------- Original Message -------- Delivered-To: [email protected] Received: by 10.216.21.200 with SMTP id r50csp269400wer; Wed, 26 Mar 2014 09:56:12 -0700 (PDT) X-Received: by 10.224.98.197 with SMTP id r5mr90462159qan.47.1395852971085; Wed, 26 Mar 2014 09:56:11 - -0700 (PDT) Return-Path: <[email protected]> Received: from p2pfb ([64.34.184.97]) by mx.google.com with ESMTPS id w5si4614789qab.43.2014.03.26.09.56.10 for <multiple recipients> (version=TLSv1.2 cipher=RC4-SHA bits=128/128); Wed, 26 Mar 2014 09:56:10 -0700 (PDT) Received-SPF: neutral (google.com: 64.34.184.97 is neither permitted nor denied by best guess record for domain of [email protected]) client-ip=64.34.184.97; Authentication-Results: mx.google.com; spf=neutral (google.com: 64.34.184.97 is neither permitted nor denied by best guess record for domain of [email protected]) [email protected] Received: from sympa by p2pfb with local (Exim 4.80) (envelope-from <[email protected]>) id 1WSr7P-0006Y1-Dq; Wed, 26 Mar 2014 16:55:59 +0000 Received: from mail-db3lp0077.outbound.protection.outlook.com ([213.199.154.77] helo=emea01-db3-obe.outbound.protection.outlook.com) by p2pfb with esmtp (Exim 4.80) (envelope-from <[email protected]>) id 1WSr75-0006Xo-76 for [email protected]; Wed, 26 Mar 2014 16:55:52 +0000 Received: from DBXPRD0510HT002.eurprd05.prod.outlook.com (10.255.67.165) by AM3PR05MB259.eurprd05.prod.outlook.com (10.242.249.26) with Microsoft SMTP Server (TLS) id 15.0.913.9; Wed, 26 Mar 2014 16:55:32 +0000 Received: from [192.168.1.47] (88.6.171.39) by pod51015.outlook.com (10.255.67.165) with Microsoft SMTP Server (TLS) id 14.16.423.0; Wed, 26 Mar 2014 16:55:31 +0000 Message-ID: <[email protected]> Date: Wed, 26 Mar 2014 17:55:29 +0100 From: Mayo Fuster Morell <[email protected]> User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/24.1.0 MIME-Version: 1.0 To: P2P Value Members List <[email protected]> Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="------------080609090503090208080208" X-Originating-IP: [88.6.171.39] X-Forefront-PRVS: 0162ACCC24 X-Forefront-Antispam-Report: SFV:NSPM;SFS:(10009001)(428001)(26234003)(26244003)(199002)(189002)(31966008)(83322001)(19580395003)(66066001)(15975445006)(49866001)(54356001)(76482001)(83072002)(74482001)(74502001)(94946001)(74662001)(81816001)(47446002)(83506001)(97186001)(85852003)(81686001)(80022001)(53806001)(51856001)(65956001)(56776001)(47976001)(50986001)(79102001)(80976001)(47736001)(54316002)(65806001)(46102001)(63696002)(59766001)(77982001)(20776003)(95666003)(94316002)(4396001)(98676001)(92566001)(92726001)(512934002)(95416001)(97336001)(93516002)(86362001)(93136001)(74876001)(76796001)(84326002)(76786001)(74366001)(85306002)(76176001)(36756003)(16601075003)(74706001)(56816005)(87936001)(90146001)(81342001)(81542001)(64126003)(16236675002)(221733001)(71186001)(69226001)(15202345003)(62816006)(6606295002);DIR:OUT;SFP:1101;SCL:1;SRVR:AM3PR05MB259;H:DBXPRD0510HT002.eurprd05.prod.outlook.com;FPR:CC4BF160.A4D29611.62F79F83.98D3F943.20494;MLV:sfv;PTR:InfoNoRecords;A:1;MX:1;LANG:en; Received-SPF: None (: EUI.eu does not designate permitted sender hosts) X-OriginatorOrg: eui.eu X-Spam_score: 1.6 X-Spam_score_int: 16 X-Spam_bar: + X-Spam_report: No, hits=1.6 required=5.0 tests=HTML_MESSAGE,HTTP_ESCAPED_HOST,SPF_HELO_PASS,SPF_PASS autolearn=no version=3.3.2 * -0.0 SPF_HELO_PASS SPF: HELO matches SPF record * -0.0 SPF_PASS SPF: sender matches SPF record * 1.6 HTTP_ESCAPED_HOST URI: Uses %-escapes inside a URL's hostname * 0.0 HTML_MESSAGE BODY: HTML included in message Subject: [members] Data Reply-To: Mayo Fuster Morell <[email protected]> X-Loop: [email protected] X-Sequence: 261 Errors-to: [email protected] Precedence: list Precedence: bulk Sender: [email protected] X-no-archive: yes List-Id: <members.lists.p2pvalue.eu> List-Archive: <http://lists.p2pvalue.eu/wws/arc/members> List-Help: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=help> List-Owner: <mailto:[email protected]> List-Post: <mailto:[email protected]> List-Subscribe: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=subscribe%20members> List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe%20members> Dear all! Hope you are fine. We have been analyzing the database of cases at the directory. Basic conclusions: the data is much better than we expected!. There is not "rubbish" (practically all the cases make quiet sense and there is not jokes or "spam" etc). Most of the cases have all the camps full filled. There is only some camps missing data or with problematic results (in concrete: license of the user content, e-mail/contact, social network accounts, and scope). We are full filling or correcting these missing data. In terms of variability of the directory, the database of cases is quiet rich and diverse. Still we identified some "limitations" in terms of areas that do not have cases or areas that are "over present" at the directory. We would like to ask your help to balance this - in order to enrich the directory per se and because it would be of help for us regarding the sample we are designing for the statistical analysis. Basically: * It has "too many" on FLOSS and P2P file sharing * The directory has a good bunch of cases on the areas of Collaborative writing, Collaborative research, Open science, Open education, and P2P economy. "No need" to add more cases on the above categories. But: Categories it would make the directory richer if adding more cases: * It would be good to add three or four cases on the areas of: Citizen media Collaborative video, audio, images Collaborative mapping Citizen science Open data commons Internet of things Open hardward/technology/Open design Collaborative archive Gaming communities * It would be good to add one more case in the areas of P2P currency, Urban commons, Collaborative spaces, Collaborative consumption, and peer funding. In total the directory has 335 cases. We have introduced more than half of them and do not have more ideas! Great if other partners can add more cases particularly in the direction we pointed above, or if not possible to add them directly at the directory, to send us the reference. (In terms of directory design (not the data in it) in our view, there is the need to review the directory (reducing the camps that are obligatory, making easier to identified if a case is already there etc). But David now has less disponibility for tecnical help in directory (would other partners be able to provide it?) and we from Barcelona are focus on the statistical analysis. So we ambition to do the review not now, but in some time, If other partners want to take the lead now in directory design improvements great!). Thanks. Cheers!
