Subject: [Networkedlabour] new initiative 'SAYS-US'
To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]
>

SAYS-US is a new initative taken by Frank Kashner, who recently joined
the list. Thanks Frank and welcome to the list.

Frank and I did meet and talk about this really interesting webspace
initiative and decided to collaborate on developing it further. We had
several skype calls to think how to network and organize around the
idea. Below is the text from the front page of the saysus.net . It is
quite a complementary project, to another really interesting project
recently launched: by NetwzerkIT, the labourleaks.org
Both are collaborative efforts need your support, and solidarity of any
kind.

here is the text
"SAYSUS

Voice to the voiceless! Power to the powerless!

>From anonymous complaint to coordinated action.

Says who? Says Us!

———————————————-

A Psychological Initiative

Self-expression enhances psychological well-being
Dialogue increases relatedness and caring
Assertion of shared need builds a sense of efficacy and solidarity
Social action diminishes isolation, helplessness, and hopelessness
Conflict, conducted collaboratively, brings hope and change

—————————————————–

A Political Initiative

There are already struggles everywhere – for justice, equality, and freedom
People need ways to safely voice their complaints and needs
We need “eyes” and “ears” to see and hear them
In every institution, school, company, neighborhood, family
People can be empowered to learn, speak, fight, and win
Against bullying and oppressive individuals and institutions
To serve others and to change institutions, including governments
Online tools and mechanisms can help
If we build the tools, people will use them
We will learn from each other as we proceed

——————————————-

 Flow

Anonymous complaints can identify problems
Shared complaints can lead to action
Action can lead to solving problems
Repeat
Small successes can lead to bigger efforts
