It’s the result of 2.5 years of finding the best pieces for this and the organisation of two events at Kassel University’s International Centre for Development and Decent Work, and European Workshops in International Studies in Izmir last year. Do enjoy. In the introduction I make the point that ‘decency' cannot be understood as identical to ‘dignity’. By looking at the history of the formation and the trajectory of mandate shifts of the International Labour Organisation we see that decency becomes, possibly, the highest level we can now expect in workplaces.
