*Smart Cities - CFP - *Emergenc(i)es - Control and Calculation :: Improvised Publics :: Inheriting Liberation <http://emergencies-bristol.tumblr.com/> Emergenc(i)es is an invitation to consider the emergency of the current historical moment. The exhibition will dwell in the question of emergence *within* emergency. Performance, education activities, visual art, screenings, installations, workshops and a library-cum-pharmacy will create time and space to diagnose, explore and understand the world we live in. *Control and Calculation* The exhibition aims to provide a critical space in which to probe the implications of digital infrastructures and how they shape everyday lives. The exhibition will be held in Bristol, one of Britain's smart cities <http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2015-03/17/bristol-smart-city>.
