Does the zip file contain a .project file (or something like that)? If so, you only have to Open Project and choose that file.

Normally, this error is due to some missing information in the CLASSPATH variable. Also check it in Properties/Runtime or someting similar.

I received a project as a zip file. When I unzipped it, there appeared to be all the elements of the application. Within NetBeans, I have attempted to build the project. Although the build is successful, attempts to run the applicaiton have failed - both within NetBeans IDE and from the dos prompt. In all cases, the error messages are IOExceptions, indicating it cant' find file paths. I think the problem is either related to my inexperience in creating the project and building it OR in not placing some of the original files in the proper location. Can someone explain the proper steps that I should be taking to resolve this problem?

Thanks
