We can call it, "The Web is Dead" conference. The cooler/better/shocking the
title, the more press we'd get. As you may have guessed. I'm anti-
establishment/authority, hence my love for the "decentralized" view of
computing.
I don't know if I want to sit and listen to speeches and power-points; I
really like sushi and beer :) My company's name is Tamago for christ
sake.....or is that "SAKE"

Guys,
I'm running CoolTech Club with monthly meetings in Palo Alto
(http://www.khirman.com/CTC/Presentations.htm ). I have access to very nice
conference facility that can hold up to 100 people. Our meetings are 50/50
technical and business oriented with seminar-like setting. It certainly not
a replacement for nice sushi shmuzing , but maybe an interesting
alternative. If you'd like me to organize kind of P2P-oriented event please
let me know who and what willing to talk and we can arrange it in
March/April timeframe.
Regards
Stas
P.S. Shameless plug - our next meeting scheduled for January 18 - for

Ack, that's too bad. In lieu of that, is anyone up for another meetup in
the vein of the "P2P in SFC" sushifest we had... boy, two Octobers ago?
I think it'd be fun to catch up on the latest in NAT traversal, overlay
topologies, and protocol hacks (eg BitTyrant/Thief), as well as see what
else everyone is up to. That and I'm always looking for excuses for sushi
(though we could substitute some other food this time, so long as there is
still beer involved).
Any takers?
