Check libJingle 0.4 at http://code.google.com/apis/talk/libjingle/index.html

its initially intended for telephone apps but you can extract the NAT 
traversal layers and use it in P2P apps development.

it support 4 layers of NAT traversal and will try best options first 
(STUN) and default to relay servers if it does not work.
