This is not even close to correct.  With Mobile IP, the Home Address
that higher layers are bound to does NOT change, regardless of how a
host is connected.  Mobile IPv4 and Mobile IPv6 operate somewhat
differently, but this much is true of both.  Applications and transport
protocols do not see any address changes.  The movement detection
portion of the Mobile IP code notices changes in connectivity (new
Care-of Addresses) and updates the Home Agent's binding cache entry.  In
Mobile IPv6, with route optimization, it may also update the
correspondent node's binding.  Either way, there are no errors reading
or writing sockets.
