Hi, AFAIK some DHTs use order preserving hash functions, but I do not know which ones. I am currently looking for a Java-implemented order preserving hash function. Does anyone know of one or a DHT which uses one? And I have still another question regarding order preserving hashing: Do I have to calculate the hash function itself first (as with a perfect hash function)? If so, do I need to know all possible keys before calculating it?
