A paper describing several attacks on Kad is available at
http://www-users.cs.umn.edu/~kyd/node/150. This, I believe, is the
first experimental results on live P2P network showing that one could
shut down 1.5 million DHT network within one hour. We had few
experiments showing the cost of generic Sybil attack as well. Some of
our attacks are prevented in the new version of Kad.
