Hello,
This may seem a bit obvious, but actually what seemed to be
trivial to me, in fact it is not. I'm working with Mobile Ad Hoc
Networks, with the intent of providing communications without any
infrastructure. To demonstrate this, I'm looking for a useful
application that is able to communicate in a real peer-to-peer
fashion, providing Video / Audio / Instant Messaging functionality.
Besides, it would be really good if that application worked on mobile
devices too, such as OpenMoko (www.openmoko.com) or Nokia Tablet's
N8xx.
Anyway, by taking a closer look at some options - Skype, Gaim, and
others, they are all really tied to an infrastructure available on the
Internet, for authentication, user listing, and other purposes. I was
wondering if any of you guys are aware of any application - Video,
Audio or IM (or all of them), that is able to work without any
infrastructure support.
regards,
