Hi, all: A new revision for proposing DRR and RPR routing mode in P2PSIP has been submitted. Please access the link http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-jiang-p2psip-relay-02.txt to take a look. Any comments and questions are welcome.
Compared with version 01, the new draft makes significant changes. Authors re-organize the draft to make split DRR and RPR related contents easily and gives specific scenarios where DRR and RPR works. According to the minutes of IETF74, DRR has been accepted by the WG as a work item. So authors hope the contents in the revision for the DRR can be as a base for DRR work item. We also hope to get more comments and questions on RPR and hope WG can decide whether or not accept RPR as an another work item. Look forward to your comments. Title : An extension to RELOAD to support Direct Response and Relay Peer routing Author(s) : X. Jiang, et al. Filename : draft-jiang-p2psip-relay-02.txt Pages : 20 Date : 2009-05-29 This document proposes an extension to RELOAD to support direct response and relay peer routing modes. RELOAD recommends symmetric recursive routing for routing messages. The new extensions provide a shorter route for responses and describes the potential cases where these extensions can be used.
