Hi,
I went back through all of the messages that were sent
recently (triggered by the "vote" threat) and catalogued
all of the comments that people made.
The good news is that 95% of it seems reconcilable
(which is not what it appeared to be at my first impression).
Many comments were made about:
* things that needed discussing anyway
* things I had started but hadn't completed
* things I put in as sort of a placeholder, but hadn't
researched fully or thought through all of the way
* things that could be implied, but which are not what
I intend
Those were all valid comments, and I accept them.
Remembering at what stage of development this is,
it should not surprise you to see issues like this.
I will send other messages soon, discussing the groups
of points made. I will try to keep them small messages
so that the thread of discussion stays relatively focused.
With regard to the two questions I asked...
1. Do you know enough about P5EEx::Blue to vote for it
to become the P5EE code base? ...
Most people responded that they didn't know much, but several
gave their opinions based on what they knew or could gather in
a limited amount of time.
would vote +1 P5EEx::Blue to be P5EE now

I am guessing that if I called for a vote to make P5EEx::Blue the
P5EE code base, it would pass. However, I think I will soon
begin a discussion clarifying "what we are trying to do here"
and make sure there are no other more mature code bases which
would be better to start from.
2. If a P5EE code base exists, will you use it? ...
I got very little response on this.
would use it (when sufficiently developed, of course)

So I don't really know which comments are earnest and sincere
contributions to a project they hope will be useful to them,
and which are intellectual chatter about something which
won't affect them anyway.
I will assume the former.
