Andrew Beekhof:
Did you follow SUSE's notes on setting up sbd?
I followed the advice as given in this article:
http://www.linux-ha.org/wiki/SBD_Fencing
Novell on this page
http://www.novell.com/documentation/sle_ha/book_sleha/?page=/documentation/sle_ha/book_sleha/data/sec_ha_fencing_special.html
refers to this article...
That's what we have at the moment:
sles2:/ # sbd -d /dev/mapper/SBD list
0 sles1 reset sles2
1 sles2 clear
sles2:/ # sbd -d /dev/mapper/SBD dump
Header version : 2
Number of slots : 255
Sector size : 512
Timeout (watchdog) : 120
Timeout (allocate) : 2
Timeout (loop) : 10
Timeout (msgwait) : 180
sles2:/ # cat /etc/sysconfig/sbd
SBD_DEVICE="/dev/mapper/SBD"
SBD_OPTS="-W"
Any ideas? This is correct?
Not a clue to be honest.
SBD is lmb's baby and I've not used it.
Hopefully he can provide some feedback.
I hope so and I will wait...
