if you use corosync + pacemaker, there is no need for heartbeat. (except for some libs - but this should correctly be handled via dependencies) e.g. my debian lenny box (with packages from backports): > # dpkg -l| egrep "corosync|heartbeat|pacemaker|stonith|cluster" > ii cluster-agents 1:1.0.3-3~bpo50+1 The reusable cluster > components for Linux HA > ii cluster-glue 1.0.6-1~bpo50+1 The reusable cluster > components for Linux HA > ii corosync 1.2.1-1~bpo50+1 Standards-based cluster > framework (daemon an > ii libcluster-glue 1.0.6-1~bpo50+1 The reusable cluster > components for Linux HA > ii libcorosync4 1.2.1-1~bpo50+1 Standards-based cluster > framework (libraries > ii libheartbeat2 1:3.0.3-2~bpo50+1 Subsystem for > High-Availability Linux (libra > ii pacemaker 1.0.9.1+hg15626-1~bpo50+1 HA cluster resource manager cheers, raoul -- ____________________________________________________________________ DI (FH) Raoul Bhatia M.Sc. email. r.bha...@ipax.at Technischer Leiter IPAX - Aloy Bhatia Hava OG web. http://www.ipax.at Barawitzkagasse 10/2/2/11 email. off...@ipax.at 1190 Wien tel. +43 1 3670030 FN 277995t HG Wien fax. +43 1 3670030 15 ____________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ Pacemaker mailing list: Pacemaker@oss.clusterlabs.org http://oss.clusterlabs.org/mailman/listinfo/pacemaker Project Home: http://www.clusterlabs.org Getting started: http://www.clusterlabs.org/doc/Cluster_from_Scratch.pdf Bugs: http://developerbugs.linux-foundation.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Pacemaker
