It is better to try with ocf-tester: Usage: ocf-tester [-Lh] -n resource_name [-o name=value]* /full/path/to/resource/agent It will make RA do all the possible stuff and check if the outcome is sane. The log messages will be printed to stderr (or was it stdout?). Use -v to get more output.
