-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2010-3076 2010-02-27 02:58:13 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : python-dmidecode Product : Fedora 12 Version : 3.10.11 Release : 2.fc12 URL : http://projects.autonomy.net.au/python-dmidecode/ Summary : Python module to access DMI data Description : python-dmidecode is a python extension module that uses the code-base of the 'dmidecode' utility, and presents the data as python data structures or as XML data using libxml2. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This update enhances the logging behaviour of python-dmidecode. Two new functions are now made available to catch warnings and process them inside the the application, instead of printing them automatically to stderr/stdout. If these warnings are not processed, they will be reported automatically when dmidecode is unloaded from the application. The new functions are get-warnings() and clear-warnings(). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Fri Feb 26 2010 David Sommerseth <[email protected]> - 3.10.11-2 - - Added upstream fix, correcting copyright in Makefile * Tue Feb 16 2010 Nima Talebi <[email protected]> - 3.10.11-1 - Update to new release * Tue Jan 12 2010 Nima Talebi <[email protected]> - 3.10.10-1 - Update to new release * Thu Jan 7 2010 Nima Talebi <[email protected]> - 3.10.9-1 - Update to new release * Tue Dec 15 2009 Nima Talebi <[email protected]> - 3.10.8-1 - New Upstream release. - Big-endian and little-endian approved. - Packaged unit-test to tarball. - Rewritten unit-test to be able to run as non-root user, where it will not try to read /dev/mem. - Added two dmidump data files to the unit-test. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
