-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2010-8653 2010-05-17 17:45:17 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : fsarchiver Product : Fedora 13 Version : 0.6.10 Release : 1.fc13 URL : http://www.fsarchiver.org Summary : Safe and flexible file-system backup/deployment tool Description : FSArchiver is a system tool that allows you to save the contents of a file-system to a compressed archive file. The file-system can be restored on a partition which has a different size and it can be restored on a different file-system. Unlike tar/dar, FSArchiver also creates the file-system when it extracts the data to partitions. Everything is checksummed in the archive in order to protect the data. If the archive is corrupt, you just loose the current file, not the whole archive. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: New upstream bugfix release: * Fixed support of symbolic links on ntfs filesystems with ntfs3g >= 2010.3.6 * Fix in probe: show devmapper/lvm volumes even when /dev/dm-xx does not exist * Fixed restoration of very small archives (archive < 4K) * Fix error handling in restoration: consider ENOSPC as a fatal error and other fixes * Fix: remove all volumes of the archive instead of just the first one if save fails -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Sat May 15 2010 Adel Gadllah <[email protected]> - 0.6.10-1 - Update to 0.6.10 * Sat May 8 2010 Adel Gadllah <[email protected]> - 0.6.9-1 - Update to 0.6.9 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
