-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2010-8850 2010-05-20 17:26:02 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : system-config-httpd Product : Fedora 12 Version : 1.5.1 Release : 1.fc12 URL : http://www.redhat.com/ Summary : Apache configuration tool Description : system-config-httpd is a graphical user interface that allows the user to configure a httpd server. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This fixes the long standing issue with Alchemist segfaulting since Fedora 12. The solution was to replace the C Alchemist with a version i've hacked^H^H^H^H^H^H written several years ago and which i've updated and fixed for the latest python and XML parsers we have. The rawhide version has been tested by several people already and seems to work nicely for them there. This version also includes a few other fixes: * Don't write unnecessary global config options into the s-c-h.config file anymore * Fix the IP validation in the IP address dialog for All Addresses. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed May 19 2010 Phil Knirsch <[email protected]> 1.5.1-1 - Fixed bug in IP verification for All Addresses selection in IP dialog * Tue May 18 2010 Phil Knirsch <[email protected]> 1.5.0-1 - Replacement of the C version of alchemist by a Python only version to avoid segfaults (#528638) - Several other minor fixes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #528638 - system-config-httpd is crashing (not even starting) https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=528638 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
