-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2010-9377 2010-06-01 17:25:28 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : drumstick Product : Fedora 12 Version : 0.3.1 Release : 2.fc12 URL : http://drumstick.sourceforge.net/ Summary : C++/Qt4 wrapper around the ALSA library sequencer interface Description : The drumstick library is a C++ wrapper around the ALSA library sequencer interface, using Qt4 objects, idioms and style. The ALSA sequencer interface provides software support for MIDI technology on GNU/Linux. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This update updates KMid 2 and the Drumstick library to their respective latest upstream releases. Changes in KMid 2.2.2 (2010-03-14): * Fixed program termination, stopping active notes. * Fixed a crash when shuffling an empty playlist. * Fixed creation of examples and system songs bookmarks at runtime, for file open dialog places. Bookmarks are created only when files are found. * Fixed saving the initial MIDI connection dialog selection. * Replaced the initial MIDI connection dialog by a new one enabling online help access, and better design. * The last directory used in several open/save dialogs is now saved between sessions. * Drumstick libraries v0.3 are needed. Changes in KMid 2.3.0 (2010-04-26): Fixes in ALSA sequencer backend: * don't set an explicit output pool size, using the default size instead * unconditionally reload MIDI devices before checking the available outputs. Backported fix from KMid SVN (2010-06-03): * Fix crash in ALSA backend due to reloadDeviceList (kde#240394) Changes in Drumstick 0.3.0 (2010-03-09): * Split: drumstick- file and drumstick-alsa * New class QWrk, for reading Cakewalk files * API changes: SequencerEvent::isChannel() returns true for SND_SEQ_EVENT_NOTE, some new methods/functions Changes in Drumstick 0.3.1 (2010-04-19): * New method MidiClient::parseAddress() replacing the ALSA function snd_seq_parse_address() in MidiPort::subscribeTo() and similar methods. * Fixed MidiClient::getAvailableInputs() and getAvailableOutputs() forcing to always retrieve the clients list. Backported fix from Drumstick SVN (2010-05-28): * drumstick-sysinfo: Avoid crashing when a timer module is not available (rh#597354) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #597354 - [abrt] crash in drumstick-examples-0.2.99-0.3.20100208svn.fc12: raise: Process /usr/bin/drumstick-sysinfo was killed by signal 6 (SIGABRT) https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=597354 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
