-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2010-9985 2010-06-15 15:37:24 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : coan Product : Fedora 13 Version : 4.1 Release : 2.fc13 URL : http://coan2.sourceforge.net/ Summary : A command line tool for simplifying the pre-processor conditionals in source code Description : coan (formerly sunifdef) is a software engineering tool for analyzing pre-processor-based configurations of C or C++ source code. Its principal use is to simplify a body of source code by eliminating any parts that are redundant with respect to a specified configuration. coan is most useful to developers of constantly evolving products with large code bases, where pre-processor conditionals are used to configure the feature sets, APIs or implementations of different releases. In these environments the code base steadily accumulates #ifdef-pollution as transient configuration options become obsolete. coan can largely automate the recurrent task of purging redundant #if-logic from the code. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Update to latest upstream version. Note that sunifdef has been renamed to coan following release of version 4.0. Details on changes can be found at: http://coan2.sourceforge.net/index.php?page=changes -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use su -c 'yum update coan' at the command line. For more information, refer to "Managing Software with yum", available at http://docs.fedoraproject.org/yum/.
