-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2010-10445 2010-06-28 16:27:35 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : bind Product : Fedora 13 Version : 9.7.1 Release : 1.fc13 URL : http://www.isc.org/products/BIND/ Summary : The Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) DNS (Domain Name System) server Description : BIND (Berkeley Internet Name Domain) is an implementation of the DNS (Domain Name System) protocols. BIND includes a DNS server (named), which resolves host names to IP addresses; a resolver library (routines for applications to use when interfacing with DNS); and tools for verifying that the DNS server is operating properly. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Update to 9.7.1 maintenance release which fixes various bugs. This update also fixes the following issue: * bind obsoleted dnssec-conf package but didn't handle transition well. The trigger, which takes care about transition, didn't look into /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf so it might contain references to nonexistent files.
