-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2010-18211 2010-11-26 00:22:33 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : armadillo Product : Fedora 14 Version : 1.0.0 Release : 1.fc14 URL : http://arma.sourceforge.net/ Summary : Fast C++ matrix library with interfaces to LAPACK and ATLAS Description : Armadillo is a C++ linear algebra library (matrix maths) aiming towards a good balance between speed and ease of use. Integer, floating point and complex numbers are supported, as well as a subset of trigonometric and statistics functions. Various matrix decompositions are provided through optional integration with LAPACK and ATLAS libraries. A delayed evaluation approach is employed (during compile time) to combine several operations into one and reduce (or eliminate) the need for temporaries. This is accomplished through recursive templates and template meta-programming. This library is useful if C++ has been decided as the language of choice (due to speed and/or integration capabilities), rather than another language like Matlab or Octave. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Update to official stable release. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Thu Nov 25 2010 Conrad Sanderson - 1.0.0-1 - spec updated for Armadillo 1.0.0 * Thu Oct 14 2010 Conrad Sanderson - 0.9.90-1 - spec updated for Armadillo 0.9.90 * Tue Sep 21 2010 Conrad Sanderson - 0.9.80-1 - spec updated for Armadillo 0.9.80 * Wed Sep 1 2010 Conrad Sanderson - 0.9.70-1 - spec updated for Armadillo 0.9.70 * Wed Aug 4 2010 Conrad Sanderson - 0.9.60-1 - spec updated for Armadillo 0.9.60 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
