-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2010-18470 2010-12-02 18:50:46 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : perl-Config-General Product : Fedora 14 Version : 2.50 Release : 1.fc14 URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/Config-General/ Summary : Generic configuration module for Perl Description : This module opens a config file and parses its contents for you. After parsing the module returns a hash structure which contains the representation of the config file. The format of config files supported by Config::General is inspired by the well known Apache config format, in fact, this module is 100% read-compatible with Apache configs, but you can also just use simple name/value pairs in your config files. In addition to the capabilities of an Apache config file it supports some enhancements such as here-documents, C-style comments or multiline options. It is also possible to save the config back to disk, which makes the module a perfect backend for configuration interfaces. It is possible to use variables in config files and there exists also support for object oriented access to the configuration. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Update to upstream release 2.50. http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/TLINDEN/Config-General-2.50/Changelog -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Thu Dec 2 2010 Ville Skyttä <[email protected]> - 2.50-1 - Update to 2.50, fixes #658945, #659046. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #658945 - No error reporting when config is a directory https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=658945 [ 2 ] Bug #659046 - perl-Config-General-2.50 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=659046 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
