Name : authselect
Product : Fedora 28
Version : 0.4
Release : 1.fc28
URL : https://github.com/pbrezina/authselect
Summary : Configures authentication and identity sources from supported
Description :
Authselect is designed to be a replacement for authconfig but it takes
a different approach to configure the system. Instead of letting
the administrator build the PAM stack with a tool (which may potentially
end up with a broken configuration), it would ship several tested stacks
(profiles) that solve a use-case and are well tested and supported.
At the same time, some obsolete features of authconfig are not
supported by authselect.

Update Information:

Authselect developers are proud to announce authselect 0.4. This release
contains several fixes and new features: * sssd and winbind profiles gained
`with-silent-lastlog` parameter to disable producing lastlog message during gdm
login * sssd and winbind profiles contain `pam_umask` module to set the default
umask automatically * `authselect` no longer crash when an invalid locale is
requested * `pam_ecrypt` in session phase is called before `pam_systemd` so user
unit files can be read correctly on encrypted file systems * `authselect
current` gained new parameter `--raw`, which prints unformatted output that can
be used in scripts * fixed few spelling and documentation issues

  [ 1 ] Bug #1562044 - authconfig --savebackup no longer takes a path
[ 2 ] Bug #1562021 - authselect crashes on start when run with unknown locale
[ 3 ] Bug #1561092 - Login screen always shows time of last login
  [ 4 ] Bug #1559600 - session: pam_ecryptfs needs to happen before pam_systemd

This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program. Use
su -c 'dnf upgrade authselect' at the command line.
