The PreludeDB Library provides an abstraction layer upon the type and the
format of the database used to store IDMEF alerts. It allows developers
to use the Prelude IDMEF database easily and efficiently without
worrying about SQL, and to access the database independently of the
type/format of the database.

Update Information:

Update to MySQL 5.5.10, for various fixes described at 
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/news-5-5-10.html

Add tmpfiles.d config file so that /var/run/mysqld is recreated at boot.

Note that this includes a soname version bump for libmysqlclient.so, from .16 
to .18, and includes rebuilds for all affected packages.
