-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2011-4570 2011-04-02 02:43:36 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : perl-Perl-Critic Product : Fedora 15 Version : 1.115 Release : 1.fc15 URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/Perl-Critic/ Summary : Critique Perl source code for best-practices Description : Perl::Critic is an extensible framework for creating and applying coding standards to Perl source code. Essentially, it is a static source code analysis engine. Perl::Critic is distributed with a number of Perl::Critic::Policy modules that attempt to enforce various coding guidelines. Most Policy modules are based on Damian Conway's book Perl Best Practices. However, Perl::Critic is not limited to PBP and will even support Policies that contradict Conway. You can enable, disable, and customize those Polices through the Perl::Critic interface. You can also create new Policy modules that suit your own tastes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This is the current upstream release of Perl::Critic. The Test::Perl::Critic::Policy module has been split off into a separate sub-package as it pulls in Test::More and hence perl-devel, which aren't needed by the rest of the package. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #677888 - perl-Perl-Critic-1.114 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=677888 [ 2 ] Bug #692831 - perl-Perl-Critic-1.115 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=692831 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
