-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2020-42ed445310 2020-02-12 02:14:23.118433 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : nickle Product : Fedora 31 Version : 2.85 Release : 1.fc31 URL : https://nickle.org Summary : A programming language-based prototyping environment Description : Nickle is a programming language based prototyping environment with powerful programming and scripting capabilities. Nickle supports a variety of datatypes, especially arbitrary precision numbers. The programming language vaguely resembles C. Some things in C which do not translate easily are different, some design choices have been made differently, and a very few features are simply missing. Nickle provides the functionality of UNIX bc, dc and expr in much-improved form. It is also an ideal environment for prototyping complex algorithms. Nickle's scripting capabilities make it a nice replacement for spreadsheets in some applications, and its numeric features nicely complement the limited numeric functionality of text-oriented languages such as AWK and PERL. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Upstream bug fixes; see https://keithp.com/cgit/nickle.git/log/ for details -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Sun Feb 2 2020 Michel Alexandre Salim <[email protected]> - 2.85-1 - Update to 2.85 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #1742426 - nickle-2.85 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1742426 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
