-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2021-9bf09dfc2c 2021-11-03 01:10:35.196555 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : dracut Product : Fedora 35 Version : 055 Release : 6.fc35 URL : https://dracut.wiki.kernel.org/ Summary : Initramfs generator using udev Description : dracut contains tools to create bootable initramfses for the Linux kernel. Unlike other implementations, dracut hard-codes as little as possible into the initramfs. dracut contains various modules which are driven by the event-based udev. Having root on MD, DM, LVM2, LUKS is supported as well as NFS, iSCSI, NBD, FCoE with the dracut-network package. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This update makes dracut only attempt to show NetworkManager output on the console when there is a usable console, and `rd.debug` is set. This should prevent unwanted spam when everything is working normally, and problems where no usable console is available (including some Fedora CoreOS cases: see https://github.com/coreos/fedora-coreos-tracker/issues/943 ). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Tue Oct 26 2021 Olivier Lemasle <[email protected]> - 055-6 - Backport PR #1611 to fix network manager when console is not usable -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program. Use su -c 'dnf upgrade --advisory FEDORA-2021-9bf09dfc2c' at the command line.
