-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2011-10856 2011-08-15 20:20:35 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : fluidsynth Product : Fedora 16 Version : 1.1.4 Release : 1.fc16 URL : http://www.fluidsynth.org/ Summary : Real-time software synthesizer Description : FluidSynth is a real-time software synthesizer based on the SoundFont 2 specifications. It is a "software synthesizer". FluidSynth can read MIDI events from the MIDI input device and render them to the audio device. It features real-time effect modulation using SoundFont 2.01 modulators, and a built-in command line shell. It can also play MIDI files (note: FluidSynth was previously called IIWU Synth). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Version 1.1.4 brings: Several bug fixes to the engine, notably quite a few which could cause FluidSynth to sound bad in some cases. API additions, that make it possible to load MIDI files from memory to inspect/modify MIDI events as they are being played from a MIDI file to change channels between melodic and drum mode and to silence all notes in one command. For a more detailed list of changes, please see https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/fluidsynth/wiki/ChangeLog1_1_4 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program. Use su -c 'yum update fluidsynth' at the command line. For more information, refer to "Managing Software with yum", available at http://docs.fedoraproject.org/yum/.
