---------------------------------------------------------------------------= ----- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2011-14746 2011-10-22 07:43:36 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= -----
Name : apcupsd Product : Fedora 15 Version : 3.14.9 Release : 2.fc15 URL : http://www.apcupsd.com Summary : APC UPS Power Control Daemon for Linux Description : Apcupsd can be used for controlling most APC UPSes. During a power failure, apcupsd will inform the users about the power failure and that a shutdown may occur. If power is not restored, a system shutdown will follow when the battery is exausted, a timeout (seconds) expires, or the battery runtime expires based on internal APC calculations determined by power consumption rates. If the power is restored before one of the above shutdown conditions is met, apcupsd will inform users about this fact. Some features depend on what UPS model you have (simple or smart). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= ----- Update Information: - fix crash in gui when toggling "Enabled" checkbox quickly ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= ----- ChangeLog: * Thu Oct 20 2011 Michal Hlavinka <[email protected]> - 3.14.9-2 - fix crash in gui (#578276), patch by Michal Sekletar * Mon Jul 25 2011 Michal Hlavinka <[email protected]> - 3.14.9-1 - apcupsd updated to 3.14.9 * Thu Jun 16 2011 Michal Hlavinka <[email protected]> - 3.14.8-8 - add script for shutdown in systemd environment (#346271) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= ----- References: [ 1 ] Bug #578276 - [abrt] crash in apcupsd-gui-3.14.8-1.fc12: Process /u= sr/bin/gapcmon was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV) https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3D578276 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------= ----- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
