Name : module-init-tools
Product : Fedora 16
Version : 3.16
Release : 5.fc16
URL : None
Summary : Kernel module management utilities.
Description :
The module-init-tools package includes various programs needed for automatic
loading and unloading of modules under 2.6 and later kernels, as well
as other module management programs. Device drivers and filesystems
are two examples of loaded and unloaded modules.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

Add "backports" directory to search line in depmod-dist.conf
Fix automated loading of the ramdisk driver by replacing "rd" with "brd" in the
runtime configuration file for the modprobe command supplied by the
module-init-tools package. Future releases of Fedora will not require such an
update since these distribution supplied files have been deprecated following
Fedora 16 in favor of kernel-supplied aliases and defaults.
