-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2012-0618 2012-01-17 20:06:02 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : nfs-utils Product : Fedora 16 Version : 1.2.5 Release : 4.fc16 URL : http://sourceforge.net/projects/nfs Summary : NFS utilities and supporting clients and daemons for the kernel NFS server Description : The nfs-utils package provides a daemon for the kernel NFS server and related tools, which provides a much higher level of performance than the traditional Linux NFS server used by most users. This package also contains the showmount program. Showmount queries the mount daemon on a remote host for information about the NFS (Network File System) server on the remote host. For example, showmount can display the clients which are mounted on that host. This package also contains the mount.nfs and umount.nfs program. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Reworked how the nfsd service requires the rpcbind service -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Mon Jan 16 2012 Steve Dickson <[email protected]> 1.2.5-4 - Reworked how the nfsd service requires the rpcbind service (bz 768550) * Mon Nov 14 2011 Steve Dickson <[email protected]> 1.2.5-3 - Ensured nfs-idmap service is started after the DNS is up (bz 748275) - Update to upstream RC release: nfs-utils-1.2.6-rc3 (bz 746497) * Thu Oct 20 2011 Steve Dickson <[email protected]> 1.2.5-2 - Added pNFS debugging to rpcdebug. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #768550 - /lib/systemd/system/nfs-server.service does not reference dependency on rpcbind https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=768550 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
