--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name : rpm
Product : Fedora 15
Version : 4.9.1.2
Release : 4.fc15
URL : http://www.rpm.org/
Summary : The RPM package management system
Description :
The RPM Package Manager (RPM) is a powerful command line driven
package management system capable of installing, uninstalling,
verifying, querying, and updating software packages. Each software
package consists of an archive of files along with information about
the package like its version, a description, etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:

This update addresses a severe performance degration in some circumstances
(such as low-memory situations), triggered by the larger database cache of
rpm-4.9.x in combination with newer kernels. For the change to take effect,
either a reboot or manually executing "rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db.*" is required.

In addition, this fixes dependency generation during package building for
certain types of ELF binaries and font files.
