--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Name : pipx
Product : Fedora 45
Version : 1.17.6
Release : 1.fc45
URL : https://pipx.pypa.io
Summary : Install and run Python applications in isolated environments
Description :
pipx is a tool to help you install and run end-user applications written in
Python. It’s roughly similar to macOS’s brew, JavaScript’s npx, and
Linux’s
apt.

It’s closely related to pip. In fact, it uses pip, but is focused on
installing
and managing Python packages that can be run from the command line directly as
applications.

Update Information:

1.17.6 - 2026-09-22
Bugfixes
Record each tool’s dependency group as its lock’s default so
pipx manifest sync installs what pipx manifest lock wrote.
Run pipx manifest lock again to fix existing locks.
Improved Documentation
Fix the argument order in the combined inject command example.
Use direct URL requirements for the Git install example with extras.
