-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2026-176f4ec8d9 2026-09-30 00:15:12.167833+00:00 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : perl-Devel-CallParser Product : Fedora 45 Version : 0.005 Release : 1.fc45 URL : https://metacpan.org/release/Devel-CallParser Summary : Custom parsing attached to subroutines Description : This module provides a C API, for XS modules, concerned with custom parsing. It is centered around the function cv_set_call_parser, which allows XS code to attach a magical annotation to a Perl subroutine, resulting in resolvable calls to that subroutine having their arguments parsed by arbitrary C code (this is a more conveniently structured facility than the core's PL_keyword_plugin API). This module makes cv_set_call_parser and several supporting functions available. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Current upstream maintenance release. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Mon Sep 21 2026 Paul Howarth <[email protected]> - 0.005-1 - Update to 0.005 (rhbz#2537324) - Restore the pad name list as well as the pad when a keyword is declined on ithreads perls: the first "my" of a block opened right after a declined keyword (if, while, print, any of them) was never closed at the block's end and masked an outer lexical of the same name for the rest of the scope; loading the module broke "my" scoping in everything compiled after it (t/blockscope.t) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #2537324 - perl-Devel-CallParser-0.005 is available https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2537324 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "dnf" update program.
