-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2012-9088 2012-06-07 22:12:10 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : i3lock Product : Fedora 17 Version : 2.4.1 Release : 2 URL : http://i3wm.org/i3lock Summary : Simple X display locker Description : i3lock improves slock by making it fork() and therefore combinable with commands to suspend your computer. Additionally, instead of turning off your screen via DPMS and/or displaying a black screen, i3lock displays a white screen so you can see if your computer failed to resume from suspend or if your screen is just locked. Also, when entering a wrong password, i3lock does not call XBell(). This is important because i3lock/slock think you’ve entered a password when resuming from suspend, at least sometimes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: Updated to latest upstream stable release. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Wed Jun 6 2012 Martin Preisler <[email protected]> - 2.4.1-2 - Don't build with cairo support, cairo in f17 doesn't have the required XCB backend * Wed Jun 6 2012 Martin Preisler <[email protected] - 2.4.1-1 - Updated to upstream stable 2.4.1 release -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
