-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2012-10935 2012-07-21 02:22:52 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : aspell Product : Fedora 16 Version : 0.60.6 Release : 16.fc16 URL : http://aspell.net/ Summary : Spell checker Description : GNU Aspell is a spell checker designed to eventually replace Ispell. It can either be used as a library or as an independent spell checker. Its main feature is that it does a much better job of coming up with possible suggestions than just about any other spell checker out there for the English language, including Ispell and Microsoft Word. It also has many other technical enhancements over Ispell such as using shared memory for dictionaries and intelligently handling personal dictionaries when more than one Aspell process is open at once. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This update fixes the crash when running "aspell dump personal", however it doesn't fix the command itself - dumping of personal dictionary will be working in the next version of aspell. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Fri Jul 20 2012 Peter Schiffer <[email protected]> - 12:0.60.6-16 - resolves: #813261 fixed crash when trying to run "aspell dump personal" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #813261 - [abrt] aspell-0.60.6-15.fc16: __GI_raise: Process /usr/bin/aspell was killed by signal 6 (SIGABRT) https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=813261 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
