-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2012-19763 2012-12-05 06:30:46 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : stgit Product : Fedora 17 Version : 0.16 Release : 2.fc17 URL : http://www.procode.org/stgit/ Summary : Patch stack for Git repositories Description : StGit is a Python application providing similar functionality to Quilt (i.e. pushing/popping patches to/from a stack) on top of Git. These operations are performed using Git commands and the patches are stored as Git commit objects, allowing easy merging of the StGit patches into other repositories using standard Git functionality. Note that StGit is not an SCM interface on top of Git and it expects a previously initialized Git repository. For standard SCM operations, either use plain Git commands or the Cogito tool. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information: This update brings fixed regression when patchdescr.tmpl template file was ignored by "stg new" command. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog: * Tue Dec 4 2012 Peter Schiffer <[email protected]> - 0.16-2 - resolves: #872651 fixed regression when "stg new" command was ignoring patchdescr.tmpl file * Mon Oct 22 2012 Peter Schiffer <[email protected]> - 0.16-1 - updated to 0.16 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References: [ 1 ] Bug #872651 - stgit ignores patchdescr.tmpl https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=872651 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This update can be installed with the "yum" update program.
